Where you should eat when you go to London:

• The Churchill Arms - Very friendly pub, with a fantastic atmosphere. Serves delicious Thai food at very good prices.
• Hummingbird Bakery - Delicious vanilla and chocolate cup cakes with thick icing. A selection of other cakes and various sweet things also available to eat in with coffee or take away. Recommended as a stop on your way to/from Portobello Road market.
• Kensington Place - This is just off Notting Hill Gate. A huge place whose giant windows provide good opportunities to gawk at passers-by. Set lunch from around £14.50.
• Lazy Daisy Cafe - A sweet cafe serving a good selection of food and an all-day breakfast at very reasonable prices. Also perfect for mid-afternoon tea or coffee with a slice of cake. Inside and outside seating (in a courtyard away from the road) makes it a pleasant place to while away the time.
• Pizza Express - Surely one of the nicest Pizza Expresses in London. One of the best things about this place is the wonderfully cosy atmosphere, yet, having said that, the restaurant is relatively large. Quite a variety of pizzas on offer, they do other dishes as well (pasta). The good thing about this place is that you could easily feed yourself for £10.
